I have over twenty years experience in legal practice and over 10 years’ experience as a supervising lawyer in charge of a team of lawyers dealing with litigation matters. More recently I am being regularly instructed by landlords on behalf of their tenants to assist in housing benefit appeals and benefit appeals against the DWP as landlords are finding this a more cost effective route to dealing with DWP tenants than applying for eviction. Benefit claimants who may have had their benefits stopped or reduced, I regularly represent clients at social security tribunals and have successfully appealed cases relating to benefit fraud and disability benefits.
