Senior Product Manager

PayPal

I look after two products for PayPal : "PayPal offers" and "Free Return Shipping".

•	Defined strategy for PayPal’s “Free Return Shipping” to reduce operational costs by 50% in next two years and to improve UX to enhance adoption rates for 15M consumers.
•	Delivering a pilot for merchants to reward PayPal users. Conducted user interviews to uncover pain points, get user feedback on prototypes and guide dev cycles. 

•	Launched a feature in the iOS app that lets users find and use PayPal offers with CTR of 3.2%(avg CTR of comparable features =2.5%)

•	Managed the APIs for the coupon platform for PayPal; driving solutions for large accounts e.g. eBay, coupon aggregators and PayPal merchants to issue coupons.
•	GDPR compliance project saving PayPal $4.3M in payouts. 

•	Identified KPIs for measuring product success. Designed an analytics dashboard for measuring KPIs that’s used by marketing teams at PayPal.
•	Drove the roadmap and global ramp for PayPal Offers platform that brought in USD 100M in revenue in 2018, with 4M consumers who used offers, with a small team of two engineers.
•	Defined product vision, played scrum master role and structured the engineering team towards agile delivery model. Took agile product owner training to improve skills.
•	Worked with the team to improve engineering performance of the platform by reducing API SLAs by 33%, thereby increasing the platform usage.

•	Helped launch PayPal Offers in India in 2018, driving PayPal sign-ups up by 1M consumers with cashback offers through customizations specific to the Indian audience.

•	Active mentor at PayPal for Girls in Tech. Active volunteer for PayPal’s women in tech Bangalore and San Jose chapters. Mentor for engineers looking to move into PM. Active volunteer for organizing the Product Bootcamps @ PayPal San Jose HQ.

Snapdeal

1.Defined product vision , owned product roadmap, operations and execution for Snapdeal's Q&A ,a user generated content platform connecting shoppers with experts.
2.Reduced time taken to make user content live on Snapdeal.com from 48 hours to 45 mins in 4 months making a user's shopping experience "real time"​.
3.Defined product goals , metrics for success & hired operations team to execute product vision leading to improvement in sales conversion rate from 6% to 9.8% in 3 months.
4.Increased product's user base by 50% in 3 months by implementing user experience improvements. 
5.Grew the product operations team size by 100% now having 6 direct reports. 
6.Owned technical roadmap and prioritisation of engineering requirements into Agile sprints.
7.Launched new UI/UX for the feature leading to 10% increase in visits within a week of launch.
8.Conducted usability workshops to get customer feedback & incorporated customer driven insights into product roadmap.

Product Manager

Bazaarvoice

•	Led several cross-functional teams of front-end devs, designers and QA to solve business problems for online retailers & manufacturers through Conversations 1.0, a client facing application that captures ratings & reviews and questions & answers.
•	Internationalization: Led product rollout for BV’s products in Japan by addressing regional and technical differences for the software helping launch 15 Japanese clients amounting to between $5 to $10M of incremental revenue for the company.
•	Developed and launched BV’s first branding element “Trust Mark” awarded to top retailers and manufacturers for authentic collection and display of consumer reviews.
•	Developed product rollout plan, best practices, customer facing documentation and tutorials to open access to BV’s technology and platform through APIs to customers leading to increase in revenue of $5M+. These APIs bring the seller closer to the consumer and leverage the customer reviews to drive actionable marketing insights within the organization. 
• Executed above projects using agile software development practices.

Project Showcase - Single handedly executed a key product marketing project to demonstrate the use of Bazaarvoice's mobile APIs by its top retail and CPG clients. 
The project enabled the sales force, product marketing and product management teams to highlight the usage of the APIs and how it had benefited top clients.

Associate Solution Designer 
•	Analyzed British Telecom’s current business processes and streamlined reusable processes improving operational efficiency by 20% and B2B Customer Experience.
•	Trained a team of 15 engineers in business communication, managing client relationships over teleconferences and requirements analysis; resulted in improvement in team’s response to critical failures and 75% reduction in duration of teleconference calls.
•	Redesigned the ordering processes at British Telecom (BT) so that quotes from competing vendors could be compared while buying telecom equipment leading to cost savings of 1500 GBP/unit (estimated cost saving of 1.5M GBP per quarter).

• Led cross functional team of representatives from sales, product management , software development to improve customer experience on BT.com and reduce time taken to fix customer faults by improving fault management processes saving 1.2M GBP in 2 years.     
•	•	Designed processes for a new broadband product that defined optimum use of telecom network as part of a team to support 1.5 million broadband customers of BT. Ensured reuse of 95% of existing business processes to reduce cost of supporting new product.
	Developed and led induction training for six new employees to enable faster resource utilization and help them integrate faster into the organization’s work culture.
Facilitated adherence to Quality Assurance and Audit checks by creating checklists , applying quality standards to business processes and protection of client's IP by physical inspection of work areas and floor (BT STRADA audit).

Senior Associate Consultant

•	Led training programs for client users to ease the use of new software and business processes.
•	Increased number of orders that could be processed at once from a batch of 50 to 1000 by enhancing the algorithm for Arcor’s broadband product. 
•	Formalized the software version control mechanism to ensure data and software integrity of profiles of 2.1 million telecom subscribers while it was accessed in parallel by up to 100 software developers.
