Responsibilities:
- Executing a plan to migrate a large Monolith into microservices which allows Stone to adapt
to increasing customer demands.

- Implement the Microservices for Prepayments and Receivables module.

- Automate the complete distributed architecture deployment.- Execute a migration plan to move the system from a private datacenter to Azure Cloud.

Project Description–Watani is an Intelligent Social City Guide and Advanced Insights Platform. It
is used by the Government of Saudi Arabia and its citizens to discover relevant government facilities nearby.

Since it’s launch Watani has over 1.5 Million registered users and around 600 thousand monthly active users and is being used actively by both the Government and the people of Saudi Arabia. 

The system has been designed to be used by 33 million-strong population of Saudi Arabia

Environment: Spring Boot, OpenStack Cloud
Tools: GIT, Jenkins, Maven

Responsibilities:
- Implementing the system for high availability and performance.

- Setting up the production system on Saudi Telecom Cloud (STC), built on Open Stack, using
open source tools and optimizing it for high volume.

- Implementing nearby places search with response time in milliseconds for 100s of thousands
of users simultaneously.

- Leading the development team.

- Designed a system component to scrape accurate product image and product information, given just the product URL, with more than 90% accuracy. 

- Developed a Shopify app to show similar products recommendation for a store using a custom recommendation engine.

- Developed an automated analytics framework from scratch to collect data from the web app
and google analytics.
