There is nothing more fascinating than diving deep in data and uncovering the covered valuable insights, patterns, trends, and numbers. Then creating meaningful visualisations to help business reduce costs, improve sales, engage customers, and maintain optimum stock levels. I have constantly been involved in decision making, problem solving, creating dashboards, and working with spreadsheets, thanks to Data I was able to make decisions which were fit for business purpose. Simple and complex questions required interpreting data to produce fruitful decisions. Whether it was ordering; merchandising stock; generating staff schedules; deep diving in Customer experience/ NPS; or planning for future events, data analysis and interpretation was the key. Before data is analysed, it is obtained, processed, and then presented. My curiosity to learn and reveal behind the scenes processes led me to Career Accelerator Data Analytics course with LSE. Through this course, I have furthered my Data Analytic skills: • Impacted organization profitability through effective strategic and tactical management decisions, business development and data analysis. • Proficient in performing exploratory and descriptive analytics, utilizing databases to support data management, preparing relevant insights to support business decision making, and effectively communicating useful insights to stakeholders. • Expert in using Excel to clean, analyse and visualize data, leveraging SQL to manipulate databases, and using Tableau to design dashboards to present insights to stakeholders. • Highly skilled in using Python and R to collect, import and wrangle data for effective analysis and conduct advance analytical processes to determine business insights. • Proficient in preparing complex visualizations using in Python; R; and Tableau to gather insights, identify trends and present insights to facilitate critical business decision making; and web scraping techniques to collect data via API’s. • Highly skilled in applying predictive models to transform insights into actionable strategies to support business objectives. Privileged to be able to explore the other side and thrilled to figure out how data is shaping our lives. Being it, a click on phone, finding route on map, using loyalty card, use of smart watch, buying something online, and so on, everything is generating data. I am excited to have joined this roller coaster ride of Data Analytics and exploring the world of opportunities it brings with it!
