In addition to Demand Planning & Forecasting, took up additional responsibilities for - 

Supply and Inventory Planning :
- Drive Supply, Inventory & Operational Planning (SIOP) for Jamshedpur plant.
- Maintaining Stock in Rate (SIR) / On shelf availability for forecasted SKUs to desired level.
- Accessing plant production capacity and it's loading along with monitoring plant production efficiency.
- Managing supply inventory in accordance with business plan for plant.
- Calculating & Deployment of Safety stock for Distribution Centres (DCs) for Finished Goods (FGs) as well as for Jamshedpur plant at component level (Semi Finished Goods / Raw Material)
- Tracking & ensuring availability of imported components to Jamshedpur plant for production of Finished Goods (FGs)
- Lead Management of Change (MOC) process for rationalization (aligning demand to production) from global manufacturing plants to Jamshedpur plant to reduce lead time, improve delivery performance & serve end customer better.

Analyst - Planning

Demand Planning :
- Perform demand planning & forecasting of Timken India business Front End Units (FEUs) for 80M USD, or 40% of yearly sales -
1. Industrial Aftermarket Distribution 
2. Automotive Aftermarket Distribution
3. Power Transmission
4. Heavy Industry
- Lead pre-consensus meetings as well as Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) and to work with various teams (Sales, Marketing and Finance) to align forecasted demand & finalizing monthly rolling forecast for the business.
- Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecast, budgets & business strategies.
- Address demand related issues in a timely & effective manner. Also, to propose and implement solutions to increase demand forecast accuracy.

Continuous Improvement (CI) Project :
- Drive operational excellence within the plant & throughout the supply chain by optimizing and managing 2B Effectiveness (Make to Stock) for Timken India.

Data Governance :
- To perform demand profile review as per set norms to support sales with business planning process.
- Ensure proper data alignment, cleansing & integrity is maintained in the system.

Sales Support :
- To provide insights over data to the Sales team for their customer visits.

Associate - Planning

DEMAND PLANNER :
- Maintaining forecasting models & forecast accuracy through historical data & future projections for 500+ SKUs of FGs from 30+ Vendors for client who is South Asia's Largest Hospitality.
- Upload & tracking Purchase Orders (POs) & coordinating with Logistics team to ensure on-time deliveries to DCs.
- Monitor KPIs related to DOH inventory, SIFOT, OTIF, Out of Stocks & In stocks.
- Monitor inventory levels & identify opportunities for aged inventory, calling out low inventory risk & implementing action plan.
- Improve supply planning performance through process re-engineering & SOP in conjunction with cross functional team work.
- In addition to above tasks, worked on gathering data points to optimize Primary Transportation network.

PROJECT COORDINATOR - Transport Management System (TMS) & Route - Vehicle Optimization Planning Tool :
- Understand requirements with business teams & ensure seamless execution of services on TMS.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Implementation of TMS & streamline ground operations at 8 DCs across India.
- Monitoring of application behaviour/database, understanding user queries & root cause analysis/resolution in case of an issue.
- Worked on implementation of Route - Vehicle Optimization Planning Tool to ensure increase efficiency and reduce inbound & outbound transportation cost with timely deliveries.

Officer - Demand Planning & Replenishment

Triumphant Racers , a team of UG engineers with a goal of making a Formula prototype race car. The team comprised of different department such as Brakes , Suspension , Engine , Power train , Ergonomics , etc. I lead a team of 3-4 members of Brakes department. The objective was to achieve a braking system which can lock all 4 wheel at a time in minimum time and distance.

Head - Brakes Department 

Once the Designing phase of car was almost over , the market research phase was carried out successful by me and other members where costings of parts , material , manufacturing operations were calculated on basis of it.
