National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF)

•	Performed extensive qualitative and quantitative research across industry standard databases namely Preqin, Pitchbook, Infrastructure Investor, Global SWF, and Private Equity International, Prepared research briefings, concept notes and strategy papers for high level interactions between senior stakeholders of the Indian government, and their international counterparts.
•	Performed extensive analysis of each fund’s strategy, structure, and terms to prepare research notes and profile briefs on several leading institutional investors; initiated, led and executed outreach campaigns for channeling LP interest into NIIF, and its funds; performed deep dive analysis of various customization of the offering of our three funds, according to individual LP interests; accordingly prepared customized decks and pitches for co-investments, SPVs etc.
•	Part of the team raising USD 1.1 Billion for the final close of NIIF’s direct growth equity fund SOF; worked with the investor relations team leads to execute the functional programs; created a strategy roadmap and operating action plan for potential investor engagement.
•	Worked with Stanford consultants to create a prioritization matrix to identify priority LPs among existing institutional investor base; created a dossier for profiling priority investors basis their investment philosophy, ESG commitments and sectoral preferences.
•	Responsible for researching and creating presentations, concept notes and trackers on the various Private equity and infrastructure deals, as well as M&A transactions in India, for internal consumption and research purposes.

Research Analyst

•	Engaged in a live project at an early-stage sector agnostic VC;  successfully ideated, and executed a data-driven proprietary deal sourcing and sifting tool, implemented with the help of Microsoft Excel VBAs.
•	Created and institutionalized an outbound deal sourcing playbook for the fund, which led to sourcing of 25 early-stage startups, in the very first month of engagement.
•	Researched, and created extensive investment thesis, conducted rigorous market, and industry mapping, to inform, and drive investment decisions, and frameworks
•	Key sector notes created included, thematic research on the device-enabled tele-health landscape , B2B BNPL for MSMEs, and use cases for Generative AI in the digital learning industry in USA.
•	Conducted rigorous interpretation of financial statements, and engaged in valuation using DCF, and Comparable Company Analysis techniques, to evaluate a potential USD 8.5 million pre-Series A funding into a mobile game, with patented learning method, to allow kids learn Spanish through interactive storytelling formats, based on the modern science of second language acquisition.
•	Performed initial due diligence, and prepared a Confidential Investment Memorandum on a  premier data company building the ‘Bloomberg for Alternative Investments’ ,with nearly 100% coverage of Reg CF and Reg A+ market
•	Evaluated potential co-investment opportunity with a leading heath-tech VC, into a consumer health and longevity app, leveraging artificial intelligence, to slow down, and reverse the effects of early ageing.
•	Ideated and successfully launched a scout program for the fund, and aided portfolio in business development, fundraising, and communications/branding

•	Collected and analyzed business unit financial and operational data for investor presentations; prepared a competitor KPI benchmarking report; maintained a database of current market intelligence trends.
•	Ideated and spearheaded a strategic initiative called Helpwise for Startups, for a portfolio product Helpwise; conducted due diligence and devised inbound strategies of outreach; Caused 5% MoM growth.
•	Helped ideate and execute on streamlining processes across sales, marketing, engineering, strategy and product.
