PwC Central Data Office - Team leader of Data Governance Operations Services

Main role:
- Operating a team of 7+ persons performing activities on Data Governance for the firm and providing support to the DPO (GDPR)
- Acting as Portfolio Manager for the Corporate Central Data Office
- Acting as the Person of Contact for coordination between IT and Business on data-related topics (Enterprise Architecture). Same for DPO (GDPR)

- Definition of the requirements for the Corporate Data Catalog
- Definition of Standard Data Retention 
- Definition of a Data Categorisation framework to be used by the DPO and CISO
- Definition of a framework for Data Anonymisation
- Review of the organisation including Roles and Responsibilities of the Corporate Data Community
- Set up of several new Data Governance activities for the firm e.g. Data Cleaning Monitoring service 
- Improvement existing DG activities e.g Data Issue Management
- Support to the DPO (GDPR) to define a Register of Processing Activity (RoPA) 
- Support to the DPO (GDPR) to define a procedure for Data Subject Rightt
- Product Ownership  for Corporate's Reference Data Management System

As we stand at the threshold of a new year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the past 365 days. It’s been a year filled with both incredible blessings and challenging struggles. 

This year, I am thankful for the good things that have come my way – the support of friends and family, new opportunities, and moments of joy that have filled my day-to-day life. Each of these experiences has reminded me of the beauty that surrounds us, even in simple things.

However, it hasn't been without its challenges. Over the past months, I have also faced health struggles that have tested my resilience and strength. These moments which are part of life, have taught me the importance of self-care, patience, and the power of reaching out for support when needed. 

As we step into 2026, I embrace the journey ahead with gratitude for the achievements, lessons learned and hope for the future. Here’s to a year of new adventures. Wishing everyone a brilliant New Year filled with health, happiness, and love! 💖🌟
