I’m a slightly creative, highly enthusiastic, and immensely expressive individual who loves to quirk up things. I love to infuse creativity in everything I do and bring it to life. When it comes to my profession, I’m a Senior Recruiter and Talent Acquisition Specialist. I thrive on teamwork, coordination, and strategizing - 3 things that I learned from my love for Badminton, and honed over my 6 years of experience as a Recruitment Specialist, recruiting candidates for the United States of America market from India. I stepped into the professional world right after graduation, at the age of 20. And there was no looking back. My first role as a Customer Success Executive taught me the importance of communication, and the science behind it. - It’s a two-way thing: understand what the other party is saying and then try to convey your solution or perspective. - Be crystal clear in what you want to say: concise yet simple and easy to understand. Within 6 months, I landed the next job opportunity that introduced me to the world of recruitment. This was for a startup, teaching me so many things about recruitment and beyond: - Posting jobs, sourcing candidates, analyzing resumes, conducting interviews and all the nitty-gritty of recruitment. - Creating and Managing teams - Building a business Hailing from a business background, I was instantly intrigued to learn more about business management. And so, I also took up a course on Mastermind for Business Application Acceleration. My first role was just the beginning of my exciting journey. Post that, I got the opportunity to explore this domain further as a Senior Recruiter, Recruitment Lead, and Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist. During these 6 years: - I developed candidate pipelines to meet client employment needs - Recruited candidates for US Fortune 500 companies - Recruited for Tier 1 IT clients like Cognizant and TCS - Recruited for IT and Non-IT job openings - Organized campus hiring for companies - Reviewed and pre-screened applicants - Managed a team of 10 recruiters - Set up employer interviews - Utilized Greenhouse ATS When I’m not working or managing teams, you’ll find me reading a book in a corner or playing badminton.
