Human sex trafficking is the second fastest growing criminal industry in the United States, just behind drug trafficking. Approximately half of these victims are children.

Estimates show that 100,000 youth are exploited into the commercial sex industry each year in the U.S., and the average age of entry into the commercial sex industry is 14-16 years old.

In Ohio alone, more than 4,000 minors are at-risk for sex trafficking, and more than 1,000 are actually trafficked during the course of a year.

Gracehaven wants to help eradicate this in Ohio. 

My role is to help expand the ministry to include case management services in locations such as Cleveland, Toledo, and others around the state.

As a part of this role and the company, we work to cultivate first-hand knowledge of carrier operations and back end systems, as well as bringing to the forefront ways to help the insurance agency succeed in the digital marketing world.  

With our ongoing presence within agent offices, and a knowledge of system and digital offerings we strive to consistently provide a SaaS based agency management system that helps the insurance agency drive business and service policies seamlessly.

As a partner in Digital initiatives, I am focused on the marketing for SIS, as well as collaborating on digital marketing product and service enhancements that could be provided to the independent insurance agency.

Led the transition of Partner XE from the v1.x series to a web-based 2.x product line.   Oversaw requirements building, product user group discussions, product roadmap and release schedule, and product quality.

President/Co-Founder/Owner - NuGrowth Digital

Co-Founder and Partner in NuGrowth Solutions - a first of it's kind business specializing in Sales as a Service (outsourced sales and business development).

I started as a partner in the business, the first of two official employees, and VP of Client Services in February 2007.  I was focused on building teams, creating, implementing, and refining systems for client performance, and ensuring our teams executed well against their business development goals.

In 2009, we acquired Strategic Insurance Software, a former client.  At that time I assumed the role of Vice President of Sales for SIS, as well as running Client Solutions for NuGrowth.  

As a team, we managed to build the organization as a whole from myself and one other employee to roughly 90 employees.  Prior to assuming the role of President of NuGrowth Digital, I was blessed to implement and lead roughly 40 sales and business development organizations across numerous industries - software, manufacturing, nonprofit, services, and more - from start-up businesses to established billion dollar entities.

Our model called for the hiring and training of new employees for nearly every organization we brought on as a client, and we were able to hire and train hundreds of fantastic individuals.  

In teamwork with the other NuGrowth Partners, we developed training curriculum focused on bringing out leadership and strengthening core values in our team.  Sales, marketing, and business development are centered around strong service and leadership - and we were able to train this and translate this into great results for our clients.

In addition, I led the organization's practice for sales and marketing automation.  We grew from simply using a CRM to track activity to custom-designing processes and procedures within sales and marketing tools to maximize revenue.  

This opportunity with an amazing group of people taught me more about leadership, toughness, sales, marketing, and innovation than I ever thought possible.

Provided Sophos sales executives with training and materials necessary for the sale of Network Access Control.  Managed process of getting Sophos team up to speed on messaging and sales materials during the initial transition of ENDFORCE to Sophos.

Venture capital backed leading security software company specializing in the development and delivery of enterprise solutions in the Endpoint Security and Network Access Control market.  

Created and managed sales processes and procedures, developed sales messaging and campaigns, managed communication with field sales force, developed and tracked sales organization metrics, and provided initial hire and ongoing education opportunities for sales organization.

Ran outside sales territory for the Ohio region, focused on acquiring enterprise level accounts.

Member of team responsible for putting together sale forecast and metrics associated with due diligence for company acquisition.

Early focus on inside sales and start-up lead generation evolved to complete account management with a target list of the Fortune 2000 across the Eastern region.  Developed and executed strategy in conjunction with Regional Sales managers and VP of Sales on major accounts to build sales pipeline and create revenue streams in key accounts.

Planned strategy for business development, and initiated relationships with key enterprise strategic accounts.

Aelita was a provider of leading edge solutions to enhance manageability and security of Microsoft networks.  They were known as a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, and had a global presence.  Specializing in products and expertise to migrate Active Directory and Exchange, they were acquired by Quest Software in 2004.  

I was challenged with driving new revenue via direct sales and business development for enterprises in the Rocky Mountain region.  Our team surpassed quota in the West.

In addition, after learning the products and services, I volunteered to help run on-boarding training sessions for new sales representatives.

I'm excited to be able to help others maximize their gifts by using mine.  In business, this comes in the form of entrepreneurship, sales, marketing, operations, and problem solving.  As one of the original pioneers in the Sales as a Service space, I learned quickly the elevating others to their desired potential is one of the critical success components for any growth organization.

I've had the opportunity to work with some amazing people and businesses.  I've been blessed with  failures, some fair to middling results, and a great deal of successful growth in knowledge, spirit, revenue, and organization size.  It continues to amaze me every day what we can do when we truly come together to do it.
