As a Psychologist, I help people navigate the complex and often challenging world of mental health and wellness. I work with individuals, couples, and families to help them overcome a range of psychological challenges, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, and relationship problems. I use various evidence-based therapies and techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and interpersonal therapy, to tailor treatment plans to each client’s specific needs. I graduated from Outspan Medical College with a field of study in Psychology in November 2021. Since then, I have gained valuable experience and skills in different settings, such as Medtronic LABS, Narumoru Health Center, The Outspan Hospital, and Nyeri County And Referral Hospital. Some of my core competencies include community outreach, mental health talks, counseling adolescents and married couples, drug addiction counseling, and HIV testing services. What drives me is making a difference in the community one patient at a time.
