• African Life-Centric Design (ALCD) is a design approach that brings together the principles of life-centered design with distinct creation ethoses and the vast human knowledge from across the African Continent. 
• African Life Centric Design, and in turn African futurism distinguishes itself from other ‘futurisms’ and design ideologies by firmly grounding its vision within the pluralistic realities of Africa. 
• ALCD delves into the perspectives and aspirations of Africans living on the continent, which ensures that the envisioned future is not an idealised projection based on external perceptions, but one rooted in the lived experiences, inherited cultural practices and factors that can only be understood by those on and from the continent.
• ALCD is a flagship project of Maswanganyi, Muyanga + co (MM+co)

Serving as one of the inaugural advisors to the Roddenberry Foundation, which 'makes catalytic, timely investments in original ideas and extraordinary people who can change the world.

UNLEASH - Innovation lab for SDGs

• Included amongst the 5% of applicants accepted to UNLEASH Innovation Lab for the UN Sustainable Development Goals
• Co-created solutions in SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, with a focus on 9.3: which aims to integrate small-scale industrial and other enterprises into value chains and markets.
• Alongside a team, aimed to bridge the information and market access gap, by working on a USSD (and SMS based) platform that leverages existing transportation systems (particularly matatu / bus services), and pairs rural women farmers with drivers who can safely transport their produce to urban markets.

The African Women Leaders Network (AWLN) is an African Women Leaders movement, supported by the African Union Commission and the United Nations, under the leadership of H.E. Moussa Faki Mahamat, Chairperson of the African Union Commission and H.E. Amina J. Mohammed, United Nations Deputy Secretary General. It is operationalized through the joint leadership of the AU Special Envoy on Women, Peace and Security, H.E. Bineta Diop, and UN Women Executive Director, H.E. Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka.

I am a director and partner at by lue. and MM+co, two visionary African woman founded design agencies that use art and design as tools to elevate product and experience building in the Global South. 

With over eight years of experience as an artist, designer, and sustainable development practitioner; I blend those approaches to push culture forward and celebrate heritage with a focus on sustainable impact.

My approach is multi-disciplinary and global, informed by my education and work across five continents.  Through my work, I have partnered with African Union, Soho House, MTN, the Clinton Foundation, Roddenberry Foundation, Roche, Novartis, EU:Africa, and Tomorrow’s Air, among others. 
I have worked with the above organisations in various capacities, including as a speaker, advisor, strategist, and creator.
