Duties and responsibilities

Policy development                        
•	Work with company Directors to strategically plan HR initiatives that will benefit company and employees
•	Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
•	Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues. 
Labor laws and regulatory compliance	
•	To guide the review and implementation of the HR policies and procedures manual and keep management updated on labor related legislation and practices
•	Ensure legal compliance, government requirements and internal policies.
Recruitment and selection
•	Oversea full cycle recruitment process, leading and advising the management in talent acquisition.
•	Designs and implement onboarding policy that conveys company culture and operating principles to ensure the employee is well versed with operating procedures and protocols.
Contract Management   
•	Prepare and issue contract letters to employees and vendors
•	Ensure timely confirmation or otherwise of new staff on completion of probation and timely enrollment of benefits in line with institutional policy.
Payroll administration
•	Submit staff contributions to relevant statutory bodies (NSSF, NHIF, PAYE etc.)
•	Payroll processing.
Inventory Management
•	Track the lifecycle of inventory and office supplies.
Performance management	
•	Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
•	Support staff development initiatives such as trainings, motivations and team building with an aim of improving performance.
Office administration                                              
•	Communicate all operating policies and/or issues at department meetings.
•	Generate monthly records and reports such as staff establishment, leave and other HR statistics 
•	Manage leave and timely attendance
•	Organize, maintain and update employee HRIS information as needed
