Co-founded a NGO Esperanza to support innovators in and outside Hong Kong, currently working to develop HK and GBA as an education innovation centre 3. Reviewed the operating model, development strategy and learning programmes of a youth education NGO, and expanded its revenue streams 4. Curated StartmeupHK with InvestHK in 2013/14 to propel the development of HK's startup ecosystem 5. Co-founded the non-profit making Make a Difference forum in 2010 to foster creative, entrepreneurial and global thinking amongst young people 6. Promoting cross media convergence, with the merging of Filmart with other entertainment related events in 2004 7. An early champion of Hong Kong's creative industries, launching new promotional events in London and the Mainland in late 1990s and early 2000s Rachel was a graduate of the University of Hong Kong and a Sloan Fellow of the London Business School. She speaks and judges regularly at various business and educational events locally and internationally, including the Annual Women of Influence Awards organized by the American Chamber of Commerce (HK). Rachel is a champion of global citizenship. She was honored as one of 2014 “Good 100” global citizens who provide creative solutions for living well and doing good.
