Hi! I'm Rachel- a multidisciplinary creative entrepreneur. I grew up with a love of film making and photography - making family and friends be my muse for my various movie ideas. I've always loved looking at life from behind a lens, being able to look back on those memories later, and then trying out different ways to edit all the clips together to tell a story. I went on to study film media and videography at The University of Rhode Island where I really found a sense of community and connection within the film making world. From there, I started shooting and editing wedding films around New England. This combined my love of capturing a moment and then piecing it all together to tell a meaningful story. In 2017, I became a first time mom to my daughter, Salem - which resulted in me starting a new creative business, little lady baby, from home with a baby in tow. After 5+ years running this creative business- it has twisted and turned and evolved as I have. What started as an online shop sewing and designing and producing a variety of different clothing and merch, went on to be a part of large and exciting events as well as hosting events of my own, little lady baby is now the hub for my various creative avenues and encompasses my passion for video editing and content creation as well as community and collaboration. Through running my own business I was able to learn so much about so many aspects of a creative business, social media, content creation, product design and development, web design, etc. I'm excited to start branching out and working with other creative companies and start innovating with like minded creatives :)
