In my most recent officerole I worked as a Marketing & Project Coordinator at Pecometer Software Limited. I recently completed a MA degree in Marketing Communications and Branding at Edge Hill University. From previous years I have attained a BA (Hons) degree in Sociology and 8 years of professional experience. In my previous role I managed the marketing and social media for Pecometer Software Limited. My key roles included managing paid platforms; managing the companies social media accounts; creating content for the company website and the social pages; handling first contacts with potential clients; creation and copywriting of biweekly blog posts; creation and maintenance of email campaigns; producing monthly analytics reports; and planning any and all events that the company has coming up/could get involved in. Alongside this, I also managed projects between clients and web developers and ensured these were completed on schedule and the way the client imagined. Previous to my most recent role, as a Marketing Assistant for the Careers team at EHU. This involved working closely with the rest of the team to make creative, promotional materials to promote events and services. I managed both the Twitter and YouTube accounts whilst also completing an audit of the website and pointing out improvements needed. Alongside this, I maintained a monthly email campaign showcasing relevant information regarding, events, job postings etc., to the relevant audiences. I also gained employment at Edge Hill University as a ‘Digital Intern’. I worked alongside lecturers and faculty heads in order to create an accessible online learning environment through the use of platforms such as, Panopto, Blackboard Ally and Adobe Acrobat. Alongside this, I also worked closely with the Universities Marketing team to create recruitment resources such as blogs and vlogs in order to entice future students to attend the University. This massively enhanced my digital skills and gave me the confidence to work online. I have 6 years’ experience in the retail industry in which I have gained excellent team work and leadership skills and also great customer service traits. I have also volunteered for a Brownie group which allowed me organise activities and plan trips and also gave me the confidence to be responsible for a group of younger children. Similarly to this, I briefly worked as a Nursery nurse in which I had my own group children to aid and teach. I recently travelled and lived in Australia for a year where I worked as an Au-Pair for 7 months caring for a two year old girl.
