Learning and Organizational Development Manager

-Manage, plan, and support projects related to business improvements and organizational development.
-Conduct organization development coaching and leadership training with the executive team.

Senior Learning and Development Specialist

Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind

-Managed CPR, Crisis Prevention, and online training programs for over 650 employees, including maintenance of documentation, resource guides, and videos.
-Managed training instructors, including scheduling and compliance with recertification standards.
-Created user manuals, FAQs, and how-to guides for staff and student electronic accountability process.
-Developed software documentation, FAQs, videos, and training for implementation of electronic timekeeping.

Social Security Administration

-Directly supervised 26 employees, including assignment of work and performance management.

-Worked collectively with management and union representatives to develop mutually beneficial resolutions to union grievances.
-Served on the North Florida Area’s Labor Relations committee, responsible for identifying ways to strengthen the relationship between management and bargaining unit employees.

-Served as Project Manager for the implementation of the Telework Pilot.
-Conducted analytical reviews of work functions, personnel needs, processing time analysis, training needs, and office automation as part of strategic planning initiatives. 
-Regularly completed training needs analysis, develop training, and conduct training on a variety of topics for subordinates, peers, and senior level staff.
-Managed new employee onboarding process, including coordination and facilitation of initial training and on-the-job training.
-Served as a subject-matter expert and technical advisor to internal and external clients.

Technical Expert

-Responsible for all initial and post-entitlement processing actions for both Title II and Title XVI of the Social Security Act
-Conducted in-person and telephone interviews for benefit applications, and post-entitlement issues. 
-Provided training for any areas of need, including completing a needs analysis for training, preparing for the training, conducting the training and providing one-on-one follow-ups after the training.
-Served as a liaison between management and the Area Director’s Office for integrity workloads.
-Participated in community outreach projects, including: coordination of Feds Feed Families food drive, Coordinator for Combined Federal Campaign, and Betty Griffin House Christmas "Secret Santa" project.

Generalist Claims Representative

Tallahassee Police Department

-Served as Human Resource Specialist to over 600 law enforcement and civilian personnel, including: recruitment, hiring, payroll, discipline, retirement, workers’ compensation, and benefits administration.
-Designed and executed strategy and tactics initiatives, including researching staffing and pay issues at comparable statewide law enforcement agencies to determine minimum qualifications and pay rates for police officers and police dispatchers.
-Served as liaison for union negotiation between the City of Tallahassee and the Police Benevolent Association. 
-Managed Volunteer and College Internship Programs.
-Maintained documentation and ensured 100% compliance with law enforcement agency accreditation standards. Served as member of departmental accreditation committee to prepare for tri-annual inspections.
-Managed Human Resources' Office web page, including content and design.
-Completed a variety of analysis, including in-depth review of statistical information required for reports.
-Coordinated and executed special recognition ceremonies, including: location, advertising, invitations, programs, certificates, and refreshments.
-Completed in-depth organizational behavioral analysis on work-family conflict in law enforcement and formally presented results to Chief of Police. Assisted with implementation of initiatives to improve morale and ensure accessibility to EAP and other employee resources.
-Maintained the Electronic Data Management systems, Employee Training database, and Public Records Request database.
