Internship with NHS England & Improvement Programme Delivery and Resourcing and Deployment teams through the Leonard Cheshire Change 100 programme.

•	Planned, facilitated, coordinated and hosted first podcast episode for new podcast series ‘Your Health and Wellbeing’ on the topic of climate/eco grief and anxiety within the context of healthcare settings. 
•	Developed new ideas and provided input from research and lived experience for re-introducing Programme Delivery team leads’ monthly meetings, line management forums, peer learning sessions.
•	Produced written content (blog posts) on for corporate social responsibility at NHSEI as well as Centre for Sustainable Healthcare. Topics included the links between workplace wellbeing and environmental sustainability as well as the benefits of outdoor green spaces in healthcare settings. 
•	Built on network intended for future collaboration with PhD studies and the NHS.
•	Gained in-depth insight into people management and deployment within a large national organisation.
•	Developed a great amount of personal confidence and resilience in preparation for PhD and future career.

Fabric Inspection – Working with an operator to inspect commercial fabric rolls for faults using a points system. Results later calculated later to pass or fail stock.

Textiles Technologist Intern

•	Using raw material and garment construction knowledge to highlight the beneficial features of a product - both functional and aesthetic 
•	Research using the Fat Face website and awareness of current offers to encourage add-on sales with accessories and seasonal gifts where appropriate, to help meet the daily target
•	Stock replenishment to required visual merchandising standards (layout differing during busy periods such as Christmas)
•	Processing sales, refunds and exchanges
•	Attending crew meetings for updates and information regarding seasonal launches

Completed two weeks work experience with the Lingerie/Sleepwear Buying and Design teams to gain further awareness and knowledge for these titles and similar roles too.

Experience with Buying included: Creating range sheets, organising Green Approved and Gold samples for sample sale held at the end of my experience, attending fit sessions, working with lab dips within a Lightbox and creating a Comp-Shop with written analyses.

Experience with Design included: Creating an online Comp-Shop, attending a trend update, using Adobe Illustrator to create colour swatch pages and shadowing Quality Assurance.

PhD Fashion Management and Marketing student at the University of Manchester, focusing on the future of UK textile and fashion manufacturing through a system that values and empowers workers. I have an interdisciplinary passion for sustainability and CSR in relation to wellbeing, writing, creativity, visual communications. Recently completed a 2 month work placement as a Business Support Manager with NHS England and Improvement, a PGCert in Sociology from the University of Manchester and a 12 month internship as a Communications and Marketing assistant at the University too.
