Connective Theatre Company was founded in the fall of 2018 as a collective of Chicago artists committed to creating diverse stories for the stage! As the Casting Director and a Founding Ensemble Member, I had a hand and a voice in all of our projects. 

- Collaborate with producers and directors to establish roles and project descriptions 
- Post casting calls to CTC Website and external casting sites 
- Source actors and review headshots, resumes and self-tapes 
- Schedule and coordinate audition and interview appointments; Organize and keep audition/interview lists up to date 
- Select all audition sides and requirements with the Director, print and label sides for auditions 
- Own the casting room during sessions, greet actors and introduce Directing team 
- Draft, send and execute contracts; Work with the Administrative Director on updates & edits to contract templates. 
- Meet with Ensemble bi-weekly to plan future projects, update bylaws and participate in our anti-racism book club

Casting Director/Founding Ensemble Member

At DRW, I worked as a full-cycle Recruiter for a few years while transitioning out of the Coordinator position & training/mentoring my replacements.

- Create and post job descriptions 
- Source, screen, and guide candidates through interview processes
- Create offers & negotiate contracts
- Lead scoping sessions with hiring managers and external recruiting agencies
- Strategize with hiring managers & wider recruiting team

While on the recruiting team I created and implemented a recruiting coordinator "handbook" through One Note which is still being used today.

As a TA Ops Specialist, I worked on full-cycle recruiting along with coordination of interviews and interview teams. I also lead new hire onboarding and provided operational support across all Talent Acquisition processes.

Working with High-School Drama students is something I love doing! In my role, I worked 1 on 1 and in small and large groups to train actors, direct plays and coordinate backstage duties. As a coach, I helped these young actors and technicians discover their passions, learn new ways of working with their peers, and open their views of the world.
