Lead strategic planning and delivery of SaaStock’s global event portfolio, including flagship conferences in Europe (4,000+ attendees) and the USA (1,500+ attendees).
Oversee end-to-end event operations: venue management, logistics, production, registration, and on-site delivery.
Own the end-to-end attendee experience strategy—covering signage, registration, flow, hospitality, and on-site engagement
Fully own and manage event budgets: forecasting, supplier negotiation, spend tracking, and post-event reconciliation
Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments (Marketing, Partnerships, Content) to ensure aligned, high-quality delivery

Events Champion

My role was to provide operational and administrative support to the Events Office. This includes the following duties:

Health and safety audits on daily basis using checklists, liaison with key stakeholders including catering, security, housekeeping, maintenance and IT.  

Monitoring summer school’s lunches and dinners including flow and people management.
Meeting and greeting external clients, providing arrival information as well as key distribution and giving directions to rooms.

Assisting the event coordinator with general administrative duties, including responding to telephone and email queries.

Prioritising tasks, making daily plans and checklists, handover notes to my colleagues and reporting to the events coordinator.

I was responsible for managing day-to-day store operations in the absence of manager. Within six months I was promoted to the main supervisor position. I was responsible for overseeing shifts and managing a team of five or more people. Daily tasks included delegation according to the needs of business, giving clear briefings and breaks scheduling. Maintaining high store standards and conditions, providing fast and efficient service. 

I was happy to take complex tasks alongside with assisting my manager with administration and weekly duties. This included the ability to work with minimum supervision and communicate with third parties.

During my time at Insomnia Coffee Company I have also learned good administration skills - scheduling rota, liaison with suppliers, invoice management, forwarding weekly administration to head office (e.g. weekly sales, stock count, credit requests for suppliers, absence and lateness forms, holiday forms). 

As a result I am proficient on computer, familiar with programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. I covered my manager for three weeks last summer and managed to learn her administrative responsibilities in two weeks.
