Lead the Access to Capital (A2C) experience for high-powering companies by building a growing network of investment partners, managing investor-related events, and supporting founders along their fundraising efforts.

Supports emerging founders throughout the fundraising process providing valuable mentorship, guidance, and helping them to raise capital from leading investors.

Serve as a ‘Regional Capital Expert’ within the global network, mapping the investor ecosystem and building relationships with key funds and partners in our region. Cross collaborate with other regions on access to capital programming and events.

Helped to rapidly expand our business from a small private practice to a multi-disciplinary behavioral health organization shifting market forces as result of the 2015 legislative house bill that expanded the state Medicaid system and licensed our care network as a Behavioral Health Service Organization (BHSO). 

Organizational Restructuring

• Reestablished the business as an incorporation and oversaw recreation of formulating and operational documents.
• Developed and adopted new operational handbooks, new hire training material and job descriptions for entire new case management division.

• Leading statewide collaborations in creating collaborative relationships with funding sources, referral sources and state agencies to improve collaboration of Managed Care organizations & Community Mental health agencies
• Built new line of services by creating a subsidiary Community Development arm that provided community-based case management, wrap-around services, and workforce development.
• Diversified revenue stream and increased total number of clients to 1500+ from 500, with an average of 30 to 50 clients per month who participate in IOP, group and individual therapy with public insurance

Client Service Delivery

• Modernized and digitized agency’s billing process and data-driven decision-making capability by selecting and implementing on-time and within budget, a robust, cloud-based, remotely accessible, Valant EMR system
• Oversaw entire electronic onboarding process and trained entire internal staff and therapeutic team on new Valant EMR system

Business Development Officer

Research and developed evidence-based programs to support therapeutic clients. Developed innovative programs and activities based on analysis of community needs and interests. Served as liaison for the company with professional, business and civic groups, community organizations and individuals. Gathered and analyzed cultural, educational, social and demographic data about the community to guide local program development.

Create and implement media/marketing strategies and tactics for Creative Spirits Counseling Center. Managed website design, executed several marketing/public relations campaigns, developed and managed electronic media and social media platforms. Ignite Louisville prepares high-potential professionals for expanded opportunities in career and community leadership. Ignite Louisville is a seven month life-changing personal and professional development experience that produces the skills, confidence, problem-solving abilities and connections essential to realizing leadership potential. Members are put into teams and paired with a non-profit for a social project. Members will also earn public recognition as a rising leader armed with professional development training from the region’s top corporations, including Norton Healthcare, Brown-Forman Corporation, Humana, as well as the U.S. Army.

Culture Code Louisville

In 2018, I created Culture Code Louisville —- an event series that provided a space to discuss and highlight diversity and inclusion within Kentuckiana's innovation ecosystem. This first of its kind event featured fireside chats, presentations, panels, and networking. The ultimate goal was to provide innovators and technologists of color with a platform to cultivate key relationships, gain knowledge to help to grow their startups, and develop solutions towards building a more sustainable and inclusive ecosystem.

A Program Fellowship that helps shape the entrepreneurial culture in Louisville, with a special focus on increasing access to entrepreneurship resources for minorities and women. Design, build, and support programs and projects that inspire and educate entrepreneurship in Kentucky and Indiana. Support like-minded organizations (with board approval) related to building the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Kentucky and Indiana. Assist in the development of strategic partnerships to support 1804’s mission.

Provide direct service and support to four employers within our Coalition to promote the employment of people with disabilities with businesses in the Louisville area.
Work closely with my assigned organizations to develop a successful plan for the training and employment of potential job candidates. 
Research and analyzed the companies to develop a working knowledge of the Company’s culture, values, and hiring practices. 
Coordinate efforts with other Coalition members by communicating job descriptions, job analysis, application and interview processes and other relevant information pertaining to employment with that organization.
