Rafael Llabres is a developer and a team lead, willing to share his experience with others, and although he really loves programming in any environment, where he most feels comfortable is in SAP. In the 90's he started his career in the Oracle world, but soon he changed to Camper, where he discovered the good old fashioned AS/400 and COBOL, and there he had his first experience with SAP version 3.1I! That was a great school where he could develop his talent as a junior expert connecting SAP to any technology: Clipper, Visual Basic and even .NET. Rafael decided then to leave the comfortably of the final client and follow the exciting SAP technology. He changed to the consultancy world, IBM/INSA, where he acquired seniority and began to lead small teams. SAP was improving hard, so he changed to CCS and collaborated with SAP developing the hospitality solution under the new web paradigm: the brand new Business Server Pages. That led him to Ziran IT, a newly Mallorca local consultancy firm, where he again followed technology. He had been exposed to FI, MM, SD, FICO, WM, PP, and now he had in front BW and HR. In parallel, Rafael's curiosity made him self-learn and apply to the customers of Ziran all kind of web technologies: PHP, JSP, Javascript (Sencha).However, the most important piece of that time is that Rafael learnt on people management, as he was the responsible of the development area, the people and their careers. And then Bacardi entered in his life, with the challenge of moving to the PMO area, out of his area of comfort, a place where to use his experience to design strategies, low hands-on but strong mentoring, and the big challenge of project management. However, the company started the journey to HANA, and so he's been in contact with all this new exciting universe SAP is opening and all those new acronims: SOH, SCP, HTML5, Fiori, OData.... Rafael is a global citizen, willing to work across multiple cultures, waiting for a challenging opportunity.
