Complete responsibility for assembly of Vertical/Horizontal turning lathes which includes: 
•	To check and ensure the sub-assemblies are within the limits as per company standards. 
•	To check the final product for defects
•	Conducting analysis of various parameters such as machine alignment, vibration, leakage and overall working (Idle running of the machine is 16 hrs.) 
•	To prepare daily production schedule 
•	Managing the 3M’s viz. man, material and machine for the smooth flow of production. 
•	Collecting data and conducting analysis for various assembly line defects, using QC tools such as Fish bone diagram, Scatter diagram, bar charts, Pareto diagram etc. 
•	Time study for various assemblies. 
•	Decision making regarding technical issues to solve assembly line problems. 
•	Generating and updating required documents for production such as Work instructions, Test chart, Machine history, Productivity chart, etc. 
•	Providing On-Job training to sub-ordinates. 
•	Ensuring Safety &amp; overall Housekeeping of the shop floor.
