If I had to describe myself in one word, I would choose "Entrepreneurial". I get things done, (often) with limited resources without complaining and can rally a team of people to see my vision and stand by me in tough times. I have done this as the founder of QuizWorks - a mobile first digital learning technology company in Bangalore, and again at TRIEC, a non profit in Toronto. I am currently with the University of Toronto where I lead an incredible team of External Relations Officers who help our co-op students find meaningful roles in Canada and the USA. Business strategy, strategic partnerships, cross cultural communication, business development are some of my strengths. In my current work, the team I lead engages with companies from diverse sectors such as financial services, technology and manufacturing among others and help them with their Campus/University relations objectives including hiring students, understanding EDI best practices, and better their talent pipeline. My raison-d'etre is "helping others succeed" and I bring my 15+ years of entrepreneurship, leadership and team management skills that my stakeholders succeed in achieving their goals. I am tech savvy and can quickly learn new tech and attain expertise in them. I have hands on experience with communications, CRM, productivity and engagement tools such as Zoom, Eventbrite, MailChimp, Survey Monkey, Kahoot, G Suite, MS Office, Salesforce and Hubspot. I have a Masters degree in Business Management and have worked with companies such as RBC, CIBC, Telus, Deloitte, Sun Life Insurance, IBM, Microsoft, etc as employer partners. I have won the “Technology Rocketship” award from UK Trade and Investment at QuizWorks and have mentored 20+ professional newcomers through my work with non profits such as ACCES employment.
