This is a LinkedIn hack I discovered yesterday.
(may have been there for a while but I wasn't aware) 
 
How to prioritize videos in your profile's Activity feed.

So, when someone visits your profile,
instead of posts, they will see videos by default.

- I visited profiles of many creators
- And most of them were not using this
- So, sharing it here for benefit of all creators
- Specifically those who want to show their videos first

Take a look at my video to know how to do this.

This makes it all the more important to have thumbnails.
I learnt it the hard way 😄

If you're an IT Channel CEO, read that again!

Myth → Videos are:

- costly
- difficult
- not at all fun
- need lot of planning
- need heavy equipment
- things competition uses to laugh

Reality → Videos are:

- a tool to share your story in parts
- a solution to your fear of writing
- personal brand enhancers
- inhibition shredders
- more portable
- stress busters

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁:

1) Think of your strengths → eg: Cybersecurity

2) Think of a niche topic → Identity & Access Mgmt (IDAM)

2) Think of your target → CISOs

3) Break down the messaging:

→ why do you focus on IDAM
→ top 3 challenges faced which IDAM solves
→ what is the reason these challenges exist
→ specific solutions to challenge 1
→ specific solutions to challenge 2
→ specific solutions to challenge 3
→ which alliances do you represent
→ what are some important trends in IDAM

Break things down, the way you break problems down.

Then record your videos according to this break-down.

Once you cover this, get deeper into your territory.

Before you know, you have so much to say.

And you start enjoying it!

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝘀𝗲:

- a good mobile phone
- a silent place
- a good mobile tripod
- a good noise-cancellation mic
- a good solid background

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆:

- put out one video a week
- learn from the experience
- use it for the future videos
- share it with the ecosystem 
- create your video channel
- use them to train new hires

// Remember:
Video length should not be more than 60 seconds.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁:

- your ecosystem starts recognizing you
- you attract more engagement
- you attract more alliances
- you attract more talent
- you attract clients
