I am an experienced Finance/Accounting professional with an MBA and CPA. I was recognized for implementing cost reduction strategies and innovation through automation and simplification. As a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), I have collaborated with senior management and cross-functional teams in managing costs and providing FP&A, accounting and critical data analytics. Some of my achievements include: 🏆 Teamed with GE Data Analytics group to incorporate Robotics Process Automation (RPA) to automate repetitive journal entries ($9MM) with established benchmarks and timelines for deliverables. The implementation of RPA significantly reduced manual, human error and time-consuming tasks from half a day to mere minutes ultimately resulting in better analysis. Served as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for RPA use. 🏆 I led the simplification of AP accrual process ($90MM) with impact to P/L for cost savings. 🏆 I managed the wing to wing capital investment process involving unfinished and finished asset reporting of $325MM. The online fixed asset appropriation website was enhanced resulting in better visibility and improved capital expenditure analysis. 🏆 I obtained ~ $2M of rebates from suppliers through enhanced data analytics of vendor consolidations. 🏆 I secured budget savings of 5% or more through headcount and administration expense reductions. I was a past treasurer in Literacy Volunteers of Stamford/Greenwich and was involved in Habitat for Humanity projects.
