In my 20 years of travel, I have interacted with thousands of travelers who have lost trust in online travel content and reviews because they are largely unverified or fabricated. There's a large majority of travel content on the Internet that's produced by people who have never been to those places. I was shocked to learn that you can hire people on Fiverr to plant 20 ‘five-star’ reviews for mere $100. The majority of genuine travel bloggers struggle to make money while content writers who research online and write "Top 5 restaurants to eat in Manhattan" make tons of money. Real and authentic content gets buried underneath fabricated content, which eventually results in genuine travelers giving up on blogging. Using Turuhi, I intend to help these contributors earn money by promoting real and unbiased travel content. MY STORY I grew up in a small town with a lower-middle income family. My family worked very hard so that I could pursue my dream of becoming an engineer and management graduate. In a country of a billion people during the 1990s, flying was primarily the privilege of the elite. I had rarely traveled outside my state (province) till I was 26. THE FIRST VOYAGE - 40,000 Kilometers Having never boarded a plane before, I got my first opportunity to travel overseas in 1999. The trip covered half of the globe, covering Europe, UK, USA and Canada in 30 days. My fascination with travel was born on this day, and since then, I haven't looked back. HOW CAN I HELP?
