1/ Market Share: An Oracle NetSuite study in 2022 showed that 64% of companies use SaaS ERP, 21% use cloud ERP, and only 15% use On-Premise ERP 
 
. This indicates a strong preference for cloud-based solutions. 
 
2/ Customization Requests: Between 33% to 48% of businesses request moderate levels of customization for their ERP systems, with 10% to 19% explicitly requesting personalized ERP solutions 
 
. This statistic highlights the importance of customization in ERP system selection, regardless of the deployment model. 
 
3/ Adoption Rates: According to a report by Panorama Consulting Group, 35% of cloud implementations are still on-premises, suggesting an untapped customer base for cloud-based ERP solutions 
 
. This indicates that while cloud ERP is growing, there's still a significant portion of businesses sticking with or transitioning slowly from On-Premise solutions. 
 
On-Premise ERP systems are unlikely to disappear entirely, as they serve unique needs that some businesses may prioritize. The future might see a more hybrid approach.

Today, I want to share a bit of wisdom that might just save your organization from becoming another cautionary tale. 
 
𝗡͟𝗼͟𝘁͟𝗮͟𝗯͟𝗹͟𝗲͟ ͟𝗘͟𝗥͟𝗣͟ ͟𝗙͟𝗮͟𝗶͟𝗹͟𝘂͟𝗿͟𝗲͟𝘀͟ ͟𝗶͟𝗻͟ ͟𝘁͟𝗵͟𝗲͟ ͟𝗛͟𝗶͟𝘀͟𝘁͟𝗼͟𝗿͟𝘆͟:͟ 
 
01. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘆 (𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀): Hershey faced a significant setback with its ERP implementation in 1999, leading to an inability to deliver $100 million worth of orders during the crucial Halloween season.
