I have two main responsibilities: (1) I lead the talent acquisition function; (2) I support and lead culture initiatives within DEI&B, employee engagement, events, and more. 

Leadership: 
- Built, led, coached, and mentored a team of 3 global Talent and Culture professionals. Maintaining a 100% engagement score. 
- Demonstrated exceptional stakeholder management through meeting with executives to execute on talent goals. 
- Presented at organization wide meetings on strategic initiatives. 

Recruitment: 
- Crafted and executed on the talent attraction strategy which enabled us to scale from 60 employees to 200+ employees across Canada and LATAM. 
- Worked on 30+ complex requisitions at a time and made 120 hires in FY22. 
- Worked on hard to fill, senior, and niche requirements within technology, product management, project management, sales, marketing, brand, partnerships, finance, human resources, and more.

Culture: 
- Spearheaded and championed DEI&B initiatives such as bias training, multicultural calendars, equity sequences, and inclusion activities.
- Utilized performance management and employee engagement tools to analyze data and develop strategic priorities (Lattice, Culture Amp). Achieved highest organizational DEI&B and Employee Engagement scores in over 5 years. 
- Developed new hire experience and employee experience plans and trackers. 
- Implemented performance, recognition, and feedback programs.
- Crafted connectivity and belonging in the workplace initiatives. 

Contracts and Negotiation: 
- Negotiated and streamlined recruitment vendor relationships, which resulting in $300k savings.
- Negotiated LinkedIn and Greenhouse ATS renewals resulting in 35% savings. 

Events: 
- Led and coordinated hybrid holiday parties across 12 locations globally with 200+ guests. 
- Hosted weekly culture boosting company events.

Continued responsibilities from my prior role but also I was the Lead Recruiter in the Canadian Government Services Vertical which includes Federal, Provincial, Municipal, Crown Corporations and Higher Education. Project work consisted of supporting digital innovation offices by recruiting various skill sets such as Developers, Designers, Product Managers, UX/UI, Quality Assurance, Agile Coaches, and Scrum Masters.

Organized, developed, and facilitated multiple recruiter training sessions. Delivered bi-weekly to 20 recruiters across Alberta.

Local diversity and inclusion champion. Spearheaded the local employee resources group that was responsible for educating staff, organizing events, setting initiatives, and hiring strategies. Partnered with leaders to help host diversity and inclusion forums.

Maintained excellent client satisfaction, proven by 100% survey scores received from over 15 clients.

Identified business development and sales opportunities for the account management team that resulted in winning new accounts.

Technical Recruiter - Government Services

As a Technical Recruiter, I was responsible for full cycle recruitment (preparing, sourcing, screening, selecting, hiring, and onboarding) across central Canada. Concentrated primarily on skill sets such as Developers, Program Managers, Project Managers, Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters, and Business Analysts. Partnered with clients in different industries such as Telecommunications, Agriculture, Energy, Utilities, and Financial Services. Built partnerships with IT professionals to understand their skills, goals and interests and match them with the right career opportunity.

Ranked the #1 rookie recruiter in Canada. This is awarded to recruiters with <1-year recruitment experience with the highest level of productivity (Sept. 2020).

As a recruitment consultant I was a 360 recruiter and account manager that specialized in recruiting accounting and finance professionals in the construction, property, resources and mining, and public practice industries. Managed a team of two recruiters. Conducted full cycle recruitment activities.

Awarded “The Americas Rising Star” to be recognized as an individual with <1-year recruitment experience who has achieved outstanding performance and for acting as a role model to peers and colleagues. This award is given to only one out of hundreds of employees across Canada, USA, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, and Columbia (Apr. 2019).

Worked with the Chartered Professional Accounts of Alberta office in Calgary to provide advice on resumes, interviews, and job searches. Held 1-on-1 sessions with newcomers to Canada to help with their career transition.

Presented to over 20 students attending the University of Calgary about internship opportunities at Hays.

Trained and developed five new consultants on the accounting and finance team.

Responsible for over 30 permanent placements and generated over $200,000 in fees.

Business development expertise and nurtured relationships with various leaders in the industry such as CFOs, Controllers, and HR Directors.

Active member of the social committee proven by arranging multiple events such as the winter tubing event and Halloween potluck.
