Designed a framework to recognize a set of arm actions on a fine-grained level (e.g. drinking water/coffee, smoking, typing on a laptop, washing hands, brushing etc.) using smartwatch's accelerometer and gyroscope sensors.

Summer Intern

Indian Statistical Instiute Kolkata

1. Developed a framework for detecting counterfeit Indian Banknote using ‘paper pulps’ security features which are only visible in the UV scanned image of the document.
2. Proposed a new inverse halftoning method for reconstructing low-resolution line halftone images.

Research Intern

Hello 👋  I have completed my PhD from INRIA Bordeaux, France. Before that, I received my MS (By Research) from IIT Kharagpur, India and Bachelor of Technology from West Bengal University of Technology, India.

My area of research interest is Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), particularly the input and interaction techniques.
