Ram is currently EVP Technology & Services at FIS India and Philippines. Prior to joining FIS, he served in global leadership positions at VMware, eBay, Yahoo! and Microsoft. He started his career in the auto industry in US developing software solutions for design and packaging of automotive suspension and powertrain systems. 

Ram formerly served on the Executive Council of NASSCOM and was Chairperson NASSCOM Product/Deep Tech Council.

I had an amazing week of conversations, brainstorming, learning and getting to know leaders involved in the state of #GCC industry across two major events.

The large and older GCCs are trying to move from cost to value. While each of us is working across various strategies, the core of it involves aligning the GCC to corporate priorities with strong OKRs, ensuring our teams are well prepared for the shift, building strong partnerships with the ecosystem, ensuring each of us has a keen focus on governance and last but not least forming the AI strategies and execution plans not just for the India sites but ensuring this has positive outcome for our customers and companies. 

It was indeed inspiring to meet many newer GCC leaders who bring fresh energy and experiences to the ecosystem. It was insightful to understand the challenges and opportunities in front of them. Some sound familair to those of us who have been on this journey for a while, and other new wrinkles driven by a changing world and countries where their HQs are located. 

Exciting times ahead and I believe the best is yet to come.
