Handling 6 Tanker Vessels coming under Gaurik Ship Management
The respective vessels loading Crude Oil from Load Port → Ventspils (Latvia) → Skagen (Denmark) → Gibraltar (Algiers) → Kalamata (Greece) or Malta for Bunkering → Suez → Vadinar (India) and discharging in Vadinar Port
Working in conjunction with the Purchase department and monitoring the status of the different Requisitions for Spares/Stores/Repairs of each Tanker vessel
Sending the Indian Register of Shipping (IRS) Class Status beginning every month to the Owners
Downloading the Survey Status from the IRS website for the 6 Tanker Vessels every 15 days and sending it to the different vessels for their records
In case, the Survey Status is not updated for any particular vessel, then, I write an email to IRS and notify them about the matter & get the correct Survey Status & send it to the vsl
Downloading the 130 Checklist received from each vessel regarding the Certificates due dates and arranging the due Surveys in time
Keeping a check on the due dates for each type of Certificate for each Tanker vessel
Requesting IRS for Attendance for our respective fleet vessels in various ports for VDR APT, Annual Inspection of Lifeboat, Annual Radio Survey, etc
For the Annual Inspection, IRS provides instructions to the vessel to prepare beforehand the required Certificates; in case, the vessel does not have them, then I send the requested Certificates to the vessel to comply with the Class regulations
Saving the different files (Noon reports/Work Done Reports/Defect Lists) received daily and weekly from the different vessels in their respective folders
Sending the Weekly Reports of the 6 Tanker Vessels to the respective Superintendents
Sending the Monthly Reports of the 6 Tanker Vessels to the respective Superintendents
Requesting the different respective vessels for providing us with Dry Dock Specifications before the vsl goes for docking & this information is shared with the Yard to establish Ship Design (MBL)

	Looking after 3 Anchor Handling Tugs,1 Towing Tug and 2 Dumb Barges

	Interacting with the different suppliers/vendors & workshops with regard to the vessel requirements
	Going through the different files (Plans, Hull, Machinery & Electrical) for each vessel and noting them down and preparing a soft copy for each respective file for easy access
	Looking after the various Certifications for each vessel and making sure they are all valid
	Traveling to MbPT / Yellow Gate and taking a note of the damage occurred to the jetty while berthing/coming inside Indira Dock (ID)
	Following up with the office and the Surveyor/P & I Club to protect the Owners interests
	Visiting the statutory bodies – IRS, MMD and DG Shipping for keeping all statutory documents in compliance
	Arranging the Annual Survey of the fleet vessels from time to time
	Communicating with IRS and the Flag for maintaining compliances for each vessel
	Reporting to the Operations Head of the Department on a daily basis
	Reporting to the Technical Head of the Department on a daily basis
