• Product Lifecycle Management and planning for further development, maintenance, and phasing out of products. 
• Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures related to the products in collaboration with other departments. 
• Manage the interaction between complex subsystems and their related calibrations, to ensure System performance and robustness are optimized. 
• Specify, develop, test, analyze and improve new mechatronic systems in our R&D projects 
• Responsibility for designing/selecting robotic systems, running simulation, implementation, commissioning, and programming. 
• Direct and manage the development of novel algorithms and technology platforms that can be broadly applied to a variety of advanced robotic applications. 
• Encourage new and innovative design concepts, inventions, patents, and opportunities for product improvement. 
• Assure product designs are fully qualified and tested according to the product and/or project design plan. 
• Testing, verification, and validation of designed products to ensure they meet the necessary requirements and specifications under anticipated usage scenarios and operating conditions. 
• Definition, execution, and documentation of detailed design, analysis, computer modeling, and specification releases.
