Along with providing training, Eduport also provides a variety of teaching tools to help K12 teachers' interactive learning.

Additionally, Eduport offers an import service for a variety of British educational goods.

Eduport makes a social investment in the community by funding a program to "adopt" a teacher who will train and develop local teachers using cutting-edge teaching methods.

In the school level, Eduport offers Hello English to students at various schools as well as at Eduport's studio. For K–12 kids who require more help with reading, writing, listening, and speaking, Hello English was created.

We are passionate about interactive and engaging learning approaches such as games, music, role play, and storytelling at Eduport. Our goal is to make good English learning a memorable experience. I am giving a lecture and providing mentorship to the post-graduate student in the Business Initiation class at the SBM-ITB Master of Business Administration Entrepreneurship program. Office Centre was in the process of merging with a large international organization from a local participant. To change the firm into a data- and customer-driven organization, pricing had to be developed from scratch at the time.

I was in charge of creating a new commercial culture within the company and starting from scratch with a pricing strategy.

My responsibilities included establishing the company's prices for commodities, merchandise, and services in accordance with the new omnichannel pricing strategy. This position involves managing change, creating policies, leading training sessions on price awareness, establishing standards, and advising senior management on how to improve profitability with pricing and purchasing strategy.

Using this function, I created a comprehensive price solution through the collaborative effort of self-organizing and cross-functional teams based on data insights from our clients.

We used the Agile development methodology, which focuses on fast and flexible responses to changes in the competitive environment. Agile development focuses on early delivery, short iterations, and continuous improvement.

To establish new pricing strategies and tactics based on US standards for Staples Retail in the Netherlands, the exchange's objective was to meet and greet key stakeholders at the home office.

In the process of integrating the two businesses, DHL International had just bought the Dutch road transportation firm, Van Gent en Loos.

To maximize sales and profit potential, it was primarily my role to calculate new tariff proposals for key account managers for the two core services. I was also in charge of overseeing the profitability of key accounts including Sony, Ingram Micro, and Philips.
 
Supporting the change and creation of a new mindset in the Sales & Marketing teams to sell on value-based pricing was a significant part of my position.

As part of this campaign, we introduced a new rate structure for Day Definite items termed 'easy rates.' The objective was to improve both the client experience and price perception.

Two ways to get your boss to like you. 



1. Never disagree 

Now, that might sound controversial but listen up. 

In Diary of the CEO, Steven Bartlett talks about this. 

Basically, when you are in a conversation and you start by disagreeing with the person opposite you, you are less likely to get what you want. 

Science experiments were done on this as well and it shows that when you start by disagreeing, parts of the brain shut down. Meaning, people freeze up and are less receptive to hearing your side. 

Conversely, when you start by stating everything you agree with, parts of the brain actually lights up. People become more receptive and open to suggestion and change. 

So start by agreeing and then once you have common ground, suggest the changes you want to see. 


2. Less talk, more walk. 

Many people know how to talk about getting the job done. They know how to talk about the strategies that are required to do it. They know how to describe the problem with so much eloquence. They know how to do the talk. 

But not many people, actually get them done.

Barack Obama echoes a similar perspective in his interview with LindekIn News. 

"Just learn how to do stuff. Project an attitude of "no matter how small or big the problem is, I can handle it and actually get it done." And I promise you no matter who is running that organization, they will notice you"

I know it may seem straightforward, but trust me, after being a leader for so many years. It's actually a rare find - people who get stuff done. 

Do these two things, and I am 100% sure your boss will like you.

The IKEA Experience Tour

Celebrating Human Connections

It had been over 10 years since I last stepped foot in an IKEA store, a favorite spot during our time in the Netherlands. From the moment you enter until you leave, the IKEA experience captivates you.

My students from Escuela de Administración - Universidad del Rosario, inspired by a strategy article, organized a class trip to IKEA. Today, after more than a decade, I found myself in an IKEA store in Bogota, Colombia.

The magic of IKEA—the ability to inspire and foster connections—remains strong. Everyone, from the security team to the store manager, welcomed us warmly and shared their retail passion with my students.

As the tour ended, we gathered for coffee and cinnamon rolls, discussing the experience.
