Self-starting technical communicator with a multi-decade background of designing and creating documentation for everything from mobile apps to embedded systems to cloud-based enterprise-grade SaaS platforms. I thrive on learning and sharing that knowledge; on absorbing and translating technical material into accessible, audience-appropriate content. I am a highly customer-focused creative professional, proficient in all major technical communications tools and delivery platforms. I have created documentation for APIs, SDKs, desktop and web-based apps, embedded systems, network management platforms, and more, in fields as diverse as healthcare, networking and telecommunications, identity management, industrial controls, semiconductors, and smart building management systems. A veteran of half a dozen startups, I am happiest when working with talented, high-energy teams, and relish the opportunity to drive a customer and end-user perspective into the development cycle. Most recently, my work has focused on the emerging FHIR standard for healthcare data, as the most recent addition to Diameter Health's Fusion platform for normalizing, enriching, deduplicating, and uplifting data. I work closely with our developers and product team to produce end user documentation of our APIs and machine-to-machine documentation in the form of the FHIR Capability Statement.
