I am a summa cum laude lawyer specializing in Labor Law with over ten years of combined experience in consulting, litigation, and teaching. In 2007, during Venezuela's severe economic crisis with an annual hyperinflation rate exceeding 2500%, I traveled to New York City to learn how home healthcare agencies operated. I then recruited and trained a small team in Venezuela to work remotely. Our first client was highly satisfied with the bilingual talent we provided, leading to more hires and referrals to other companies. This marked the birth of Freelance Latin America. Simultaneously, our freelancers were able to earn in USD, overcoming hyperinflation, and creating mutually beneficial deals. Currently, we have over 190 individuals working full-time, part-time, or on hourly contracts in various industries, such as IT, Health Care, Marketing, Real Estate, Law, and Accounting. They work from our offices or from their homes in different cities across Venezuela, Colombia, Argentina, and other Latin American countries. In 2021, as our business grew, we noticed an increasing demand for more specific profiles. This led us to create a new company, Appoint Pros, which provides online education in various fields tailored to the new demands of the virtual labor marketplace. The courses offered are not available in traditional educational centers. Appoint Pros now has over 50 graduates from different academies, specializing in fields ranging from IT and Finance to Marketing, Customer Service, and more. I envision our companies expanding globally, connecting bilingual talent to businesses in developed countries, and creating more opportunities for mutual development and goal achievement. As the CEO and founder, I am committed to realizing this vision with the support of my exceptional team. My responsibilities include overseeing major relationships, deals, and strategic plans, setting goals, and leading the management team to successful execution.
