As a Commercial Director at KEDAINIU KONSERVU FABRIKAS (KEDAINIAI CANNERY), my primary responsibility is to oversee and manage sales operations in both domestic and export markets, while also developing effective marketing strategies. I lead a dynamic team and have direct oversight of four key departments: Retail Sales to Baltics, HoReCa Sales, Export Sales, and the Marketing Department. My role involves driving growth, cultivating strategic partnerships, and ensuring the successful distribution of our products to customers across diverse markets.

Baltic RED

As a leading commercial real estate development and management company in the Baltic States, Baltic RED provides top-notch integrated commercial real estate services. During my time at Baltic RED, the company managed properties that exceeded 600,000 square meters, valued at an impressive 500 million Euro.

At Baltic RED, I successfully handled corporate communication and marketing for commercial properties by creating and implementing effective marketing strategies, coordinating advertising, PR, sales promotion campaigns, organizing events and openings of shopping malls and business centers.

One of the most challenging and demanding projects during my time at Baltic RED was the expansion and refurbishment project of the MEGA shopping and leisure center in Kaunas with a 47 million Euros investment. The project involved adding an additional 30,000 sq.m GBA to the existing 72,000 sq.m. (GBA of 102,000 sq.m in total). Despite the construction work, the shopping center remained open to visitors throughout the entire period. Our team successfully implemented the project, which included the addition of 70 new stores (200 in total), a new multi-storey parking area of 24,000 sq.m, new design concepts, digital signage, public leisure places and services. 

In addition to overseeing the expansion of MEGA shopping and leisure center, I was responsible for developing and implementing an innovative concept of the largest children's edutainment center in the Baltic States, called CURIOCITY (1500 sq.m). We opened it in MEGA in 2017 and it offers an interactive, educational, and entertaining environment for children aged 1-13. The center inspires imagination, creativity, and exploration through play, making it a favorite destination for families and adding value to the shopping and leisure center.

I have extensive and diverse experience in the retail industry. In 1998, while still studying at Kaunas University of Technology, I began my career at the leading Lithuanian company "Senukai" (now Kesko Senukai Lithuania) - the largest retailer, wholesaler, and e-commerce merchant of DIY, building materials, household, interior, electronics, garden, and leisure goods in the Baltic countries.

Starting as a Business Development Manager, I was promoted to Business Division Manager within two years. I then served as Commercial Director for five years, followed by two years as Human Resources Director and Member of the Board of Directors. At that time, the company employed nearly 5000 professionals in various fields, the retail network consisted of 91 stores, and the annual turnover was 360 million Euro (in 2008).
