I grew up in Brownsville, Brooklyn, in the 1980s. It was a challenging environment, but within the turmoil, there was a sense of peacefulness and community. During my teenage years, I ventured into Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, where I encountered diverse cultures and communities. This experience grounded me and taught me that despite our different backgrounds, we are not so different after all. I began my IT journey in my late teens, driven by a strong interest in computers. When a computer coffee shop opened in Park Slope, I introduced myself to the owner, expressed my enthusiasm, and asked to volunteer. This incredible opportunity allowed me to learn and grow, for which I am still grateful today. Plus, I learned to make an excellent cappuccino. From those humble beginnings, technology has afforded me the amazing opportunity to travel the world, meet countless people, enjoy drinks in Shanghai, have coffee in Cape Town, and share laughter in New Delhi. My core competencies include system automation, monitoring, cybersecurity and optimization, leveraging disruptive technologies like robotic process automation (RPA), artificial intelligence (AI), natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning (ML). I excel in project management, technology integration, vendor management, and regulatory compliance. I am passionate about building high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and driving business growth through technology excellence. My two key philosophies are: treat others as you would like to be treated and do no harm.
