Product Manager, 5G Disruption (New Business Incubation, Corporate Strategy)

Our team in the Artificial Intelligence & Data (AI&D) organization stood up an enterprise-wide experimentation platform with features such as digital twin capability, simulation platform, A/B testing, and reinforcement learning engine in 4 months. We also initiated tool discovery/evaluation sessions and design thinking workshops to write functional and performance-based product requirements. Before that, we built a model management platform to streamline/measure models' performances, resulting in an 88% more efficient process and 50% in cost reduction to maintain model metadata in the cloud.

Senior Technical Analyst (Artificial Intelligence Insights) - Leadership Development Program

Persona fraud risk score ML model (for different use cases) to categorize new and existing customers using correlated fraud data in the historical database:
- The model for Verizon order customers has a 91% hit rate, capturing up to 10 fraud orders per day, and has a projected fraud loss savings of up to $2.2M per year.
- The model for Visible (a prepaid cell phone carrier owned by Verizon) is in progress and is set to improve their fraud customer identification verification process.

My other ad-hoc projects involved fraud detection/prevention, supporting business platforms such as wireless ID/credit/equipment/network and wire-line network for residential and business landscapes using Oracle SQL, Python, and R. I built new ML data models and enhanced existing models for fraud detection with customers and orders, as well as identified new cloud-based data modeling tools. Throughout the year, I worked with business and strategy teams to translate fraud alarms into actionable measures for direct impact on revenue saved from online and in-store customer interactions.

Technical Analyst (Fraud/Financial Analytics) - Leadership Development Program

Retail Camera Analytics:
Use case is path analysis and customer/rep interactions to improve revenue. Analyzed video footage taken from security cameras in retail stores. Worked with retail organization, legal/privacy, HR, corporate security, data science, business, and hardware teams. Used Teradata SQL Assistant and Teradata Studio to query sales data, and several dashboards for planogram data and store rank analysis. After data collection, worked with the data science team from Teradata to work on deep learning methods for computer vision analytics, implementing neural networks. Developed technical knowledge, business analytics expertise, and presentation advantage by having the opportunity to present to leadership about the progress and results. A great example of a project converting unused, unstructured data to structured metadata, driving meaningful decisions through insights.

Customer Care/Billing Optimization:
Goal was to reduce the number of calls transferred to live agents. The approach for this was to improve customer experience through Journey Optimization and leverage AI/ML to generate insights. Involved the COVA dashboard, several data sources, and data platforms with necessary algorithms. Analyzed thousands of billing calls to be able to use the Billing Call Prediction (Bill Shock) Model, a logistic regression based model, to ingest rich set of model predictors, train the model and predict calls, extract the call prediction lead list, and load the lead list for notifications to front end channels. Came up with and tested several hypotheses to find out the best way to reduce money lost by business due to calls.

AI/Cognitive Center of Excellence (COE):
Helped with establishing a new COE for AI/Cognitive. This included working with different business/IT teams to understand the current landscape. Researched emerging technologies and shared with the community. Built an AI/Cognitive vision and shared with key stakeholders to drive execution.

2019- Planned and hosted the Women in Data Science regional event in March for Women's History Month. Planned and hosted a multitude of webinars July through October focusing on career advancements, resume/bio writing tips, etc.
2020- Planned and hosted the 3rd annual #nextWAVE Women in Technology Conference in January, consisting of keynotes, workshops, panel discussions, and networking sessions for both professionals and students over 13 years old. Created and launched the WAVE learning portal plan for personal development learning within the company.

with some modifications. The program is designed to help young people overcome the fear of

This experience brings joy and hope for the future generations, and I am glad that I got the opportunity to positively impact the younger generation to become more confident leaders through communication.

1️⃣ This past March has been a journey of empowerment, starting with the creation of an AI education awareness task force. As the G100: Mission Million NY State Chair for AI, Data, Cybersecurity, and Product Management, I had a fulfilling experience connecting with Sonal Kalbande, MSBA, Anjani M., HRM Queen Ameenata Koita, Alison Bergstrom, Chille Cynthia Bergstrom to discuss how to make access to AI education easier. It's been immensely fulfilling to foster learning and discussion, empowering individuals to navigate the world of AI confidently. Looking forward to releasing our events soon!

2️⃣ Connecting with strong women leaders from across the globe has been truly inspiring. I was part of a few events hosted by the United Nations and UN Women during #CSW68 in NYC, thanks to Dr. Harbeen Arora Rai for connecting us. We discussed and built agendas on topics such as: AI in law and enforcement, building sustainable housing for underprivileged women, and increasing jobs to help women become financially independent in developing nations. Each encounter has been a reminder of the strength and resilience that women bring to every corner of the world. Their stories fuel my determination to push boundaries and effect positive change.
