Indian marketers who never wrote a code are now AI job prophets. Apparently, a prompt is all you need now. No logic No structure No system design No design pattern Just pair Cursor with some LLM and you’re a 10x engineer. These folks skipped writing "hello world" and jumped straight to writing obituaries for devs. They’ve never deployed an app but they’ll tell you that devs are done for. They’ve never touched version control but suddenly speak in terms like "scaling backend infra". It’s funny how the ones with zero code experience are the loudest about dev jobs disappearing. Meanwhile, the actual devs are busy cleaning up AI’s broken code. If you’re learning to code, don’t let this noise get to you. AI will evolve. So will you. And when the noise will fade... The ones who can actually write quality code will always be needed.

Tracking metrics is the death sentence for your product. If that’s the only thing you obsess over… You need to focus on engagement.   → keep users hooked → build something they talk about → work on your offerings Numbers won’t guide you. People will. Talk to your users. Watch how they use your product. Ask questions. Listen more than you speak. No engagement = No insight = No direction
