Assists in overseeing the production process and scheduling to meet production quotas within time and financial constraints.

Assists in managing the allocation of personnel throughout the production area and monitors their performance on a daily basis.

Performs production planning activities such as demand forecasting and production scheduling.

Designs, implements, and constantly improves quality control processes.

Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspecting and evaluating the production process.

Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.

Designs and delivers quality training programs to key personnel in conjunction with managers.

Plans for, acquires, and manages resources needed for producing required goods.

Analyzes production equipment and processes and adjusts where needed to improve usage of resources and overall efficiency.

Audits the production operation for nonconformity to the preset standards and identifies any such events for statistical analysis of quality control incidents.

Develops backup plans as a result of external factors affecting production (e.g., delay in receiving containers

Forecasts manpower needs and coordinates with Human Resources to act accordingly.

Monitors the production operation and promptly acts whenever production is off schedule.

Assesses the performance of employees and rotates them or assigns tasks that capitalize on individual skills and capabilities.
