+ Project Management - Coordinated a team of 3 to design and provide cost estimate of a water metering station and wellhead injection facility and recommended a modified design to the client which was lower in cost.

+ Process Improvement - Designed and implemented a project tracking system utilizing macros enabled excel workbooks over the course of 1 month for a CAD 3.2 Billion oil sands project, which eliminated the need to hire additional manpower for the task.

+ Process Improvement - Proposed a modification of the current document creation and checking process flow of over 100 drawings per week across 4 departments. Resulted in process optimization and increased efficiency.

+ Coaching - Over the course of 2 years, coached 4 members of the PTS Team, capitalizing on each individual’s strength. Resulted in a team that can do their tasks effectively and efficiently.

Pipeline Tracking System Engineer, E.I.T. (Oil Sands Facility Construction Project)

+ Contract Management - Managed up to 24 contracts with various companies from various engineering backgrounds which amounted to approximately 2.5 million Canadian dollars, that is required to carry out maintenance works in the facility.

+ Project Management - Successfully co-ordinated major operations such as replacement of 3 units of Water Bath Heater tube bundles with 0 accidents or interruption in gas supply.

+ Process Improvement - Consolidated drawings and documents such as P&ID and as-built drawings into a master file that reduced the time required to refer to the drawings by 50%.

+ Contract Management - Defined contracts scopes and requirements to ensure complete coverage of all aspect of maintenance such as preventive and corrective maintenance. 

+ Contract Management - Ensured compliance with various international standards such as API, ATEX, ASME, ASTM, ANSI, and ISO in planning of projects and awarding of contracts.

+ Coaching - Trained new staffs using on-the-job training program that lasted for 12 weeks for each employees.

+ Safety - Supervised the implementation of HSE Safety Management System for the installation including methods such as Risk Assessment, Tool Box Meeting, Safe Work Procedures, and DuPONT STOP Card.

+ Product Development - Constructed the first working prototype of an innovative multi-touch based gaming table (similar to Microsoft Surface) within 4 months, coordinating with the industrial designer, software programmers, sound engineer and art director. 

+ Operations - Performed meticulous selection of electrical and electronic components from vendors from different countries.

Mechatronics Engineer (Product Development)

+ Process Improvement - Designed and implemented new repacking strategy for bulk materials importing and exporting. Increased efficiency of the unpacking process at the receiving end by 50%.

+ Technology Implementation - Established a systematic administration system for stock taking and goods movement using Microsoft Excel. The system reduced 40% time required for stock taking and updating.

+ Operations - Maintained high customer service standard by delivering the products in a timely, cost effective, and efficient manner.
