Starting at Ernst & Young and progressing through to founding Funky Riddim Events and Right Minds next to several roles at Progressive Recruitment, KPN, Erasmus University and Rabobank, I have cultivated strong capabilities in sales, account management, business development, e-commerce and (digital) marketing. This hands-on approach has been instrumental in navigating the challenges and opportunities in my career. My academic education at Erasmus University and Nyenrode Business University laid the groundwork for a deep understanding of economics and marketing, all while fostering my proactive approach to problem-solving. This blend of hands-on experience and education was pivotal during my time as a Key Account Manager at AkzoNobel, where I was responsible for the P&L of various large on- and offline clients within the DIY channel, along with initiating and implementing innovative business models. In my current role as E-commerce Manager Benelux at AkzoNobel, I lead a dynamic team dedicated to optimising and growing our e-commerce operations. Embodying a can-do spirit, my team and I navigate the complexities of strategic and operational leadership across our proprietary brand websites, B2B ordering platforms, and various marketplaces. My technical skill set includes proficiency with platforms such as Magento, Channable, AEM, Amazon, Bol.com, and Mirakl, integral to the effective implementation of our e-commerce strategy. In this dynamic, ever-evolving e-commerce landscape, my focus remains on continuous innovation, improvement, and the application of a practical, hands-on approach to drive AkzoNobel's online sales performance in the Benelux region.
