with just 4 simple steps and clear examples:

Step 01: 
The Setup - (Start by giving context)
- What’s happening? 
- Who’s involved? 
- Keep it short, but enough so the reader understands the situation.

⮎ Example: “Last year, our team struggled to hit deadlines.”

Step 02: 
The Conflict - (Every story needs tension) 
- Show the problem, 
- the obstacle, 
- or the moment things didn’t go as planned.

⮎ Example: “Projects kept stalling because nobody was clear on priorities.”

Step 03: 
The Turning Point
“Things changed when [decision / action / insight].”

⮎ Example: “We started scoring leads and focusing only on the top 20%.”

Step 04: 
The Resolution
"As a result, [outcome]. And I learned [lesson / takeaway]."

⮎ Example: “Deals closed faster, stress dropped, and I learned focus beats volume.”

Remember these four words:
Setup → Conflict → Turning Point → Resolution.

and you don't need anything else.

I preach lead generation

but my first client fired me within 17 days

It felt bad.

I thought I had failed.

Because as a beginner, landing that client felt like the biggest win of my life.

But guess what?

17 days in…

They let me go.

At first, I blamed myself.

Maybe I wasn’t good enough.

Maybe ghostwriting wasn’t for me.

But with time, I realized something important:

Not every client is your client.

Losing one project doesn’t define your worth.

Every “no” teaches you how to get to a better “yes.”

That experience taught me resilience.

And it pushed me to grow faster than I ever would have.

PS: Getting fired was the best teacher I never asked for.

1 year ago, a friend gave me a “master plan”:

→ Make a list of accounts
 → Comment for 1 week
 → If they reply, keep them
 → If not, remove them
 → Keep growing the list

Back then? I clapped.
(It looked genius. I was still learning.)

And yes, on the surface it feels good:
 → Your posts get engagement
 → You look like an authority (maybe)
 → Every post looks like a win

But here’s the truth pod users don't like:
x You work harder than non-pod users
x The algorithm traps you in a loop
x Only pod users see your content
x Your ICPs don’t find you

So I quit and this is what happened:

Week 1 → engagement dropped
By week 2 → new people started seeing me
By week 3 → new people commented
By week 4 → ICPs started visiting my profile
By week 5 → inquiries + leads started flowing in

Now? I don't use pods at all and;
I still get engagement.

But this time it feels right.

Because my friend…
You don’t use tricks to build a community of real people.
You build it with trust.
