DevOps Engineer

Softbinator Technologies

- Collaborated closely with development teams to understand their needs and the application code, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, while providing the necessary tools for ensuring efficient delivery of software and infrastructure changes;
- Dockerized applications and services across various technologies, creating secure and lightweight containers, while implementing security best practices and conducting vulnerability scans;
- Built and managed Kubernetes clusters for microservices applications, utilizing Helm for application deployment and management;
- Implemented and managed infrastructure on AWS with services such as EC2, S3, Cloudfront, RDS, IAM, and VPC. Utilized Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with Terraform for efficient infrastructure management;
- Developed automation scripts in Bash and Python to optimize different workflows and managed regular backups of databases and volumes for reliable data storage;
- Maintained control over Source Code Management, branching models, and merge strategies using GitHub, while being responsible for CI/CD implementation across multiple projects in different environments using GitHub Actions;
- Implemented an EFK (Elasticsearch, Fluentbit, and Kibana) logging stack to monitor application logs.
- Mentor at Softbinator Labs 2023, guiding students in understanding key DevOps concepts and technologies, and providing support in the creation of their final projects.

SIMAVI Software Imagination & Vision

- Contributed to EU financed R&D projects, created documentation for use cases and business flows, and worked closely with business analyst teams and partners to meet project deliverables. Attended international meetings with prestigious universities, companies, and organizations throughout Europe, and participated in plenary meetings and demonstrations through travel delegations;
- Designed and developed applications and tools including REST APIs for core modules, and worked on the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of new and existing features;
- Coordinated the deployment process of Java applications using Jenkins and Docker;
- Ensured provisioning and system administration of OVH Cloud for microservices environments and additional tools (MySQL, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Nginx, Ubuntu,Docker), managed a dashboard to monitor the health checks and communication between microservices through Kafka.
