Too many brand campaigns are built for decks, not people. Big budgets, glossy renders, and a recap video no one ever watches. I work on the opposite end of that spectrum—where strategy meets storytelling. And the goal is simple: make people feel something real, and still hit the KPIs.

For Canva, that meant transforming a product launch into a cultural franchise: Canva Create. 4,500 creators live in LA, 22M more online, all walking away with a sense of belonging (and maybe a tote bag). For Mercedes-Benz, it’s been about reimagining “luxury” as a lived experience - whether inside an F1-themed takeover or in the middle of a cultural crossover. For YouTube Shorts, it was literally a drive-thru experience: snackable, fast, and designed to be shared before the fries got cold.

With every new year comes a lot of new folks on LinkedIn, so here's my hello!

Hi, I’m Rob. 👋

I work in brand experiences. I’m a twin dad. And I started my career as a theme park performer.

My very first job in the 'industry' was hosting special effects shows at Universal Studios. From there, I moved behind the curtain, helping design and produce theme park attractions and all kinds of weird, wonderful location-based entertainment. I’ve learned that guest experience is EVERYTHING.

Then I spent a chunk of my life in theatre. Touring the country as a stage manager. Theatre taught me something I still believe deeply: the people you work with matter more than almost anything else. They can make chaos feel joyful... or unbearable.

Eventually, all of that collided perfectly in events and experiences. Production, creative, design—I freelanced across it all. I’ve been lucky enough to work on things like Olympic Opening Ceremonies and over-the-top product launches launches. The big lesson from my freelance days? Learn broadly. Go deep where you’re strongest. Curiosity is a career advantage. Unicorns are real (but very, very rare).

Today I’m in the agency world, leading brand experience work. I’ve worn a lot of hats (production, accounts, strategy), and my goal is still the same: create experiences that actually do something to people.

Outside of work, I’m attached to an incredible wife (who I met one fateful New Years' Eve in Las Vegas), and I’m out numbered daily by my four-year-old twins.

Somewhere between Broadway theatre and pure spectacle, Times Square continues its long, proud tradition of making people stop, stare, and absolutely lose focus over glistening abs.

Say what you want, but this thing refuses to die. It knows exactly what it is, who it’s for, and it shows up with zero shame and full choreography. That’s not an accident... that’s brand clarity.

Respect to MML. Few IPs age this confidently, keep finding new stages, and still sell tickets without pretending they’ve “evolved past” the original premise.

2026 is shaping up to be both horny, and theatrical.
