As the Head of Technology at iFood Pago, I have the responsibility of overseeing the entire fintech engineering team in the B2B segment, with the aim of achieving both individual and business objectives. 

My role entails training and developing the team members to enhance their capabilities, mentoring the engineering specialists and managers to advance in their careers, controlling the budget, providing assistance in strategic decision-making, and benchmarking against the market, with a focus on responsible innovation.

Head of Technology

As an Engineering Manager, I was managing 8 multidisciplinary teams (comprising approximately 40 individuals), my responsibilities include people management, mentoring, process optimization, project oversight, and ensuring the quality of our solutions.

Engineering Manager

Responsible for the end-to-end product delivery process, encompassing people management, process optimization, and project management. Our primary product is the iFood digital bank, integrated with the BaaS layer, offering a wide range of features such as cards, onboarding/acquisition, PIX, transfers, bill payments, and more.

Given the need to accommodate numerous simultaneous requests and a large customer base, our architecture presents a significant challenge. As a result, our services must be both scalable and stable.

Technology Coordinator

As a technical leader for a team of developers, I support them in achieving our goals by facilitating discussions, designing architecture, reviewing code, and ensuring stability in our CI/CD pipeline. The project's entire architecture is based on microservices and hosted on AWS, providing enhanced stability and optimized performance for our application.

One of the key challenges in this role was orchestrating the ITI platform POS payment flow at REDE and developing a crucial, scalable application to communicate with other APIs within the transaction flow.

Senior Systems Analyst - Technical Leader

I have experience in the development and bug fixing of various applications, including those supporting different conditions for creating/provisioning accounts in a conference solution for a leading telecom service provider. I assisted a major client in transitioning from a waterfall methodology to an Agile one by coaching them and serving as a Scrum Master/Product Owner until July 2018.

Additionally, I worked as a game developer on a new platform designed to support browser-based independent and non-independent games. This involved digitalizing numerous board games for our platform until June 2013.

I also contributed to the development of new features and bug fixing for a Softswitch (VOIP-oriented platform), focusing on test creation to improve application performance and ensure platform stability until April 2012.

In general, my responsibilities included mentoring new hires and leading teams, helping them learn the technologies used and grow professionally. At Daitan, we had daily interactions with international teams, primarily from the US.
