After beginning my career in the restaurant industry when I was just 15, I convinced my parents to partner with me to purchase our first pizza shop when I was just 18. Over the next 20+ years, we expanded to a multi-unit operation. I quickly learned that my success was directly tied to the performance of my staff. Improving my internal training and employee development programs became my key focus. In 2005, I pulled together a team of experts to implement technology-based training at my own company. During the first meeting, it became clear how much the entire service industry needed a solution for high quality and streamlined online training. This realization was the springboard for what is now Ready Training Online (RTO). As CEO and President, I was determined to work with my team to offer a complete content and software solution for not only my own company, but for others as well. That challenge led us to expand and evolve our online learning management system, trainingGrid™. With content and delivery going strong, we turned our attention to further developing our in-house production studio, MotionGlass, in ways that would allow us to efficiently produce real-world training modules with best-in-class video and audio. Produced in the MotionGlass studio, my podcast “Culture of Convenience” is designed to collaborate with other business leaders to share our collective lessons learned with anyone willing to listen.
