My super powers are clarity and community around adult education. I help people learn new things by translating theory and data to practice and building positive communities. Sometimes that means bringing diverse groups of people together to share ideas. Sometimes it means teaching them how to use a new software program, apply a new theory in the classroom, or connect the needs of the workforce to the many things adult education can offer. I'm a first generation college graduate from rural Appalachia, so I know a thing or two about educational access, life-long learning, and relationship building. I've been fortunate to work and lead in the nonprofit and adult learning space, both at home and overseas. It's been a joy for me to work on, learn alongside, and lead diverse teams of individuals.
