Customer-Driven was a global initiative to change product making culture from tech-focused to customer obsessed. I managed a team that provided opportunities to speak with customers, taught short courses on the how and why of user research & user centered product making. 95% of programming attendees rated these programs positively.  We also increased the percentage of employees who spoke to a customer in from 64% to 77%.

I also conducted research to identify systematic barriers to the culture change. This resulted in a change to mission statement for the European Development Centre and the creation of v-teams to eliminate the barriers as well as HR initiatives.

Led research and provided human factors knowledge in support of the development of autonomous vehicles. Notable accomplishments:
Became the expert within Ford on people with disabilities and mobility. 
Designed or conducted research in simulators, on-road, and with a wide variety of populations.
Developed, organized and taught classes on human factors research with high reviews from students.

Institute for Defense Analyses

Conducted research and provided expertise in human factors, behavioral, and social science to the US Department of Defense. 

Advised the DoD Director of Operational Test & Evaluation (OTE) and the wider OTE community on best practices and importance of collecting human factors data.
