Close to 20yrs experience across design and business undergrad and postgrad education, leading programmes, modules, projects and partnerships, facilitating teams, learning design, experience design, corporate and cultural sponsorships and partnerships, concept development, creative communications and experiential marketing. I work closely with an amazing programmes team spanning admissions, operations, design, delivery and assessment, and in partnership with our accredited partners Teesside University International Business School. The quality of practice-based accredited Masters Programmes matter to me because the world needs critical thinkers as doers situated in the workplace. Hyper Island’s Digital Management and Digital Experience Design MA programmes are continually evolving to address the needs of life long learners and of industry. In my own practice-based research I draw inspiration from research through design, participatory design, digital social innovation, beyond/more-than-human-centered design, experience design, reflective practice, soma design, systems thinking, design activism and socially engaged arts practice.
